Capital investment

Capital investment is a certain amount of funds provided to a company to direct it to further implementation of business objectives and to facilitate the deal flow and increase the operational profitability. Capital investment can also be used to refer to company’s acquisition of and investment in attractive projects, real estate, or production of goods.
