Seed funding is a financial term used to refer to the early-stage financing in the form of securities or equities offerings. Seed funding is investors’ capital invested in exchange for digital shares or security or equity stakes in the company. Seed funding includes capital elicited from business-angels, friends, family, crowdfunding and certified or accredited investors.
